WhatsApp, the Meta-owned instant messaging platform, has added a new feature that allows users to design their own custom stickers within WhatsApp Web.
With the new feature, You don’t have to settle for pre-made WhatsApp stickers (or use a third-party tool) if you’re sitting at your computer you can create stickers using a few simple steps.
Users can create stickers from the same window they use to send stickers to their contacts. Sticker Maker is available on WhatsApp for Web and will also be available on Desktop soon.
How to Make Your Own WhatsApp Web Sticker
For Whatsapp users to create their own stickers, they need to follow the following steps:
1. Open WhatsApp Web, go to the chat you want to send the custom sticker to.
2. Click on the attach icon in the chat bar (paperclip icon) and then opt for the sticker option
3. Once the new Sticker option is selected via the attach button, WhatsApp users can select any image saved on their computer to edit and customise. Select the photo that you want to send as a sticker, and edit it on WhatsApp using the tools offered.
4. WhatsApp allows you to add emojis, stickers from your sticker panel, and even add text. WhatsApp users can even draw on the image, or crop it if they desire. Options to undo and redo an edit action are also available.
5. Once the custom sticker is successfully edited and created, WhatsApp users can select the Send option available at the bottom right of the chat screen.
WhatsApp has given tools like the ability to doodle, put text, crop, and add emojis to the custom stickers that users will create. It is not known when these features will be rolled out for mobile app users.
On WhatsApp Web, the sticker creator function is accessible for both group and individual chats.
