Top Seven Free Android Apps This August, 2013

In the popular Google play Play store there never been shortage of best free Android apps for smartphones and tablets, with everything from fun and games to file downloads and security Android Apps. I have compiled top 7 (Seven) Android Apps for this Month of August for you, these apps are from different Categories  being Productivity, Internet and Communications, Location, Photos and Video, Utilities and Entertainment.

App 1. Weather Signal (Free).

weatherWeather Signal app makes use of phone’s environmental sensors to deliver in-depth weather reports display local atmospheric readings, which are then display live-updating weather map of Weather Signal. When using this App you contribute to the most ambitious weather crowdsourcing project in the world – helping to record weather patterns on a more localised level. The map view plots your data – as well as data from other Weather Signal users – onto a map of your local area, and filters specify which data is displayed.

The more sensors your phone has, the more information Weather Signal will display.
My favourite features of this app is the ability to save all data to CSV on SD card and  the way you can produce Manual reports. Being flexible  this way means that you can use the app data for research purposes; thats my take!

App 2. Google Voice – US Only (Free).

With Google Voice you make cheap international calls with your Google number. Send free text messages. Place calls and send text messages showing your Google number. Listen to voicemail and read transcripts.
Unfortunately Google Voice is currently only available in the US. However Google Voice is still one of the best utilities you can install on your Android phone as it is completely free. Of course, you could go all the way and import your number and manage it through voice. Google Voice also can syncs your text messages to all your devices, this suggests that you can get them anywhere. Please check your Mobile platform for available features and functionality.

Chats, video chats, shared photos, and more are all in the same app and interface, saved and easy for you to download and back up, no matter how many people were involved with the conversation. My be you never imagined torrents or any other peer-to-peer application like µTorrent on your mobile phone, well; the popular peer-to-peer application µTorrent has released its first Android app.  With this app you can find torrents and download them directly to your phone or tablet with the official µTorrent® App (uTorrent App) for Android (Beta).  µTorrent® Beta got all the features you’d expect: a main window where you can switch between your downloading and completed torrents, search functionality, and several  from any torrent app like technical settings: customisable upload and download limits, TCP port selection, subscriptions and more.
