Talking about Facebook security, you can add an extra layer of security by using this strong Facebook Login Notification settings option. Facebook let you choose to set an alert on every time someone accesses your account from unknown computer or other device. Enabling this option will add an extra layer of security to control your Facebook account if someone else has gained unauthorised access to your account and tried to login, facebook will alert you.
Here is How To Setup Facebook Login Notifications:
Privacy Settings, click the second option in the left hand pane.
Step 1. Click the gear icon at the top right side of your Facebook account, in the drop list, choose Accounts Settings. (Direct Link: Click Here)
Step 2. From the left hand pane, choose Security which is second option in the list.

Step 3. Point and click on Login notifications, then Click Edit next to login notifications and choose either to receive email or a text message/push alert.
Note: You need to add a mobile number to your account to receive text message/push alerts.
Step 4. Click on Save Changes.
After turning this option on, On Facebook will ask you to name your computer or other mobile device you are using. Facebook also offer an option to save this device to your list of Recognized Devices. When you choose to save devices, you will not have to keep naming the computer or mobile phone you usually use to log into Facebook. You are advised NOT to save computers or devices that are for public use.
