Many Facebook users don’t care who sees their staffs they share on Facebook including photos and status updates. But why give your family pictures, birthdays or other information to people you completely do not know? With the increasing incidence of cyber crimes your personal data may easily be used for for the purpose of planning a physical crimes against you or others.
On my personal views you need only your Friends, who you probably trust to see and comment on your staffs, not even “Friends of Friends”.
Now, lets see How To Set Friends Only Access On Facebook Privacy Settings;
Well, lets go!
Click on the gear icon you see at the top most corner at the right side of your Facebook screen and click on Privacy Settings.(see image).
On the screen at the left hand panel, make sure Privacy is selected, if not click on it. Privacy is the third option in the left hand pane for the current Facebook Privacy settings screen.
There is Three options here, we are interested on the first one which is’ Who can see my stuff?’ In this Option you will be able to choose exactly who can see your future updates on Facebook, these are options available:
- Public (which means everyone on Facebook).
- Friends (which means only your Friends).
- Only you (Super Privacy).
- Custom (this one gives you an option to specify or limit some of your friends from seeing your posts).
Now, choose Option number 2 which is Friends; from now on whatever you post will be set to Friends Only, remember you still can change this option for every individual update you do post on Facebook!
