Before I tell you how to do live broadcasting, you better know what Facebook live Video is.
What is Facebook Live?
It is a Facebook service which lets people, public figures and Pages be able to share live videos on their wall for their followers and friends.
Some days back it was only possible to live broadcast videos from iOS or Android mobile devices. Though, Facebook lately announced that the Live Video publishing for Pages will let you use your existing video to create live video content.
Here is how to live broadcast, get out your mobile device and open up the Facebook app.
Step 1: Go to your Facebook profile and open up the status box same way you used to write a new post.
Step 2: Tap the “Live” icon, which looks like a human outline.
Step 3: Give Facebook access to your camera and microphone if prompted.
Step 4: Press the “Continue” button on the introductory page.
“Continue” won’t start the recording. The next steps will be preparing your live video before you go live.
Step 5: Choose your privacy setting. Choose whom you want to share Video with
Step 6: Write a gripping description.
Step 7: Set up your camera view.
Now click “Go Live,” be sure your camera’s pointing in the direction you want it to.
Step 8: Click the blue “Go Live” button to start broadcasting.
Currently Facebook live broadcast can be up to 90 minutes long.
While broadcasting you may interact with viewers and commenters by direct talking to them or by having someone responds to comments from a desktop computer.
Step 10: Once done, Click “Finish” to end the broadcast.
Once you do this, the video will stay on your Timeline or Page like any other video post. You can save the video to your camera roll for future use or else.
