In most cases your BlackBerry Smartphone is frozen or in some cases you need to Hard Reset your BlackBerry device.
How to do it!
If you own BlackBerry smartphone that does not contain a QWERTY keyboard say BlackBerry® Torch™ 9850 smartphone, you will need to skip option Two to Hard Reset your BlackBerry Smartphone since soft reset is never possible on none QWERTY keyboard. Good news is that the Hard Reset your BlackBerry Smartphone technique applies to every BlackBerry smartphone.
I will take you through a very simple way on How to Hard Reset your BlackBerry Smartphone; BlackBerry Bold. (In Most cases it will work with every BlackBerry smartphone.)
- Remove the battery cover from the back of the BlackBerry smartphone.
- Remove the battery, and then reinsert it after a few seconds (10 seconds will constantly do).
- Replace the battery cover.
- You are done! Wait for your BlackBerry smartphone to reboot and start using your BlackBerry smartphone!.
Option Two: (Soft Reset)
If you own BlackBerry smartphone models with a QWERTY keyboard, say BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone, Here’s how to do a soft reset.
Press alt+shift+del all the same time and you are done! Wait for your BlackBerry smartphone to reboot and start using your BB!
Option Three: (***This will delete all Data on your BlackBerry Smartphone***)
done via the BlackBerry menu.
- Select Options.
- Select Security Options.
- Go to General Settings.
- Tap on Menu key.
- Select Wipe Handheld.
***Remember: This will wipe out all data on your device.
Note: On the way you will be prompted to choose what data/Items will be deleted on the device, you will also prompted to enter the world “blackberry” to confirm.
